Description:  The original and longest running guide to daily living, the Old Farmer’s Almanac has been revised every year since the 1792. Jon will discuss the historical development of almanacs and book of days periodicals. The Old Farmer’s Almanac contains data on seasons, moon phases, sunrise and set times, position of planets, weather predictions, agriculture and fishing information, among other topics.
