Will review: Colored Seated in Rear: A perspective of two li’l chilren, black and white, growing up in the 60s by Nancy Lee McCaskill and Adeline Reddick

In Colored Seated in Rear, best friends Lee and Adeline take you back in time to the Sixties in the South. The story weaves back and forth between the perspectives of these two southern women – one white, one black -- during one of the most tumultuous and divisive decades, not just in their lives but in world history.

Reviewers of this book say they were both astonished and enlightened by the difference of these young lives lived in the south and their own in the north; that they felt a spectrum of feelings while reading; and that they applaud the authors for delving into otherwise hidden emotions.
