Reviewer: Jon Bell, Director of IRSC Planetarium.
He will discuss the historical development of almanacs and book of days periodicals. The Old Farmer’s Almanac, Janice
Stillman, et al, editor has been revised every year since 1792 and contains data on seasons, moon phases, sun rise and set times, position of planets, weather predictions, agriculture, fishing information, among other topics.
Followed by a branch meeting.
