ABOUT THIS EVENT
In our last meeting of the season, we honor the many dedicated volunteers -- in leadership and supporting roles – who have created our programs, welcomed our guests and new members, kept the branch running and helped us achiever out goals. We’re an all-volunteer organization, and we honor those who have made the season successful.
We also introduce the brilliant young women who have received our scholarships. They may be leaving high school and going to an out-of-area college. They may have achieved their AA degree with excellent grades at IRSC and plan to go on for their BA. They may be women who have graduated from the REACH program at the Economic Opportunity Council of Indian River County and plan to attend an intensive year of study to be a Licensed Practical Nurse at Treasure Coast Technical College. We are so pleased to honor them with scholarships to help them on their way. We even hope to see a few of our past recipients and have them tell us their stories.
We will also elect new officers to our Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
And we’ll have fun and good food. So, join us for a delicious buffet at McKee Botanical Garden and lots of celebration!
